AUSTRALIAN IDOL

Stan Walker is the new Australian Idol! I think he is amazing! He has an incredible voice. Michael Buble said his "throat was kissed by God" and I couldn't agree more. His voice is made for R 'n B, soul and everything in between really . . . . . . . . .

This clip shows Stan Stan singing Superstar the song originally made famous by the Carpenters and later by Luther Vandross. The beginning of the clip gives a little insight into Stan's background. He had it tough...........

This is one of my favourites Ordinary People.............

Other songs that Stan has sung on the show include How Can You Mend A Broken Heart? ....... Purple Rain ....... Hallelujah ....... Let's Stay Together ....... You Should Let Me Love You ....... Amazing Grace ....... Umbrella .......

His new single is Black Box - available now!

Congratulations Stan!

you think . . . i know . . .

you think
i scream for you and for love
i know
i whisper for my destiny to the one above

you think
that i hope that you’ll change your mind
i know
you’re a guy and it’s sealed and signed

you think
i ignore all your clever warning signs
i know
they’re very clear, very real and hard line

you think
that you’re rigid and determined to be in control
I know
Life’s not like that, you don’t always reach your goal

you think
that if you focus, you’ll get what you want to gain
I know
you may not end up wanting what you strive so hard to attain

you think
that i know i’m being ignored
i know
it’s not me you want to adore

you think
oil and water will never ever mix
i know
i need to remove myself from this crazy matrix

you think
you’re my friend, my lasting pal
i know
i’m your here-for-a-good-time-not-a-long-time gal

you think
that doesn’t diminish my worth
i know

it does . . .

I LOVE POETRY

i ..... d a n c e d

i hope i never lose my sense of wonder
that when i get my fill to eat i’ll always keep that hunger
i hope that i never take one single breath for granted
that love never leaves me empty handed
that i still feel small when i stand by the ocean
whenever one door closes, i hope that one more opens
i hope i never fear those mountains in the distance
and never settle for the path of least resistance
i know that i don’t allow my fragile heart to leave me bitter
and when i came close to selling out i did reconsider
i gave the rainbows above
more than just another passing glance
so when i got the chance to sit down or dance...

i danced
