I was recently tagged by Psych Babbler who referred to Ersa. who said anyone who wanted to take the 30 questions tag could, so I thought I would (because I couldn't think of anything else at the minute). So, here goes:

1. When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought? My hair needs straightening!
2. How much cash do you have in your wallet right now? $162 (went to an ATM yesterday and haven't spent anything yet!)
3. What’s a word that rhymes with DOOR? whore
4. Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your cell phone? a guy that wants to hook up

28. Does anything hurt on your body right now? My left shoulder

FRIENDSHIP TAGBOOK

Some time ago I made a friendship tagbook for a good friend of mine who moved to Melbourne. We spent a wonderful weekend together in her new home town and I put together this little memory keepsake to remind her of the fun times we had. Needless to say, she loved it!

RED DRESS

Don't you love it when you find a dress that is just 'you'? It's the right colour, the right gorgeous print, the right fit, it's just well . . . right.

I haven't worn it yet as it's been too cold lately. I hope it looks just as good on as it does on the hanger . . . mmmmmmmm . . . . we'll see. I bought it from Yoshi Jones - a sweet clothing store in Newtown. All the clothes are originals, designed and made in Australia using a mix of contemporary Japanese and vintage kimono fabric.

MUM'S BIRTHDAY

We celebrated mum's 70th birthday over the weekend. It was a surprise dinner party for 17 people at my house. It took a whole lot of 'lying' by my brother, nephew and myself to pull it off!!! But pull it off we did.

HOOKED ON FLOWERS ON COLD WINTRY DAYS

Sydney is freezing! For the last couple of days it's been between 14C and 16C during the day and about 10 degrees colder at night. It's real indoors weather even though it's quite sunny outside. I've been sitting by the fireplace every night this week. It's so warm and cozy.

But despite the cold wintry weather there are some beautiful flowers still blooming in my much-neglected garden. They are a gorgeous sight in these cold, early-dark days.

SPRUCING UP MY HALLWAY

Now that I'm in renovating mode - {yet again!} I decided to spruce up the hallway. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be concentrating on my bedroom . . . and I am. This is just a little distraction (one of many because I have a uni assignment due on Friday!)

Anyway, I finally bought a runner for the hallway. It fits perfectly and I love it!
