This is just a sneak preview of my bedroom. The next thing to do is rip out the carpet and polish the old wooden floorboards, buy a luxe rug, some new curtains and lamps.

FEEL GOOD STORY

I just had to write about 47 year old Susan Boyle who really wowed the judges with her performance in the auditions for Britains Got Talent, singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. Susan really turned her dream into a reality. What an incredible performance!

I dreamed a dream in time gone by

When hope was high and life worth living

I dreamed that love would never die

I dreamed that God would be forgiving.

Then I was young and unafraid

And dreams were made and used and wasted

There was no ransom to be paid

No song unsung no wine untasted.

But the tigers come at night

With their voices soft as thunder

As they tear your hope apart

As they turn your dream to shame.

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather...
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed

Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.

HAPPY EASTER

I hope you all had a Happy Easter.

I was lucky to celebrate this most special day on the Christian calendar with my parents, my nephew and his girlfriend. We had a yummy lunch, preceded and followed by lots of chocolate and topped off by a walk to try and settle the stomachs! Dudley was happy with all the leftovers!
